Southampton has introduced Sunflower lanyards and a quieter route through the terminal for hidden disabilities. Its pages give little detail on how to collect a lanyard.

What they offer

How to get help: At Southampton Airport, tell your airline, tour operator or travel agent at least 48 hours before you fly if you need special assistance, or pre-book it through the PRM Assist app. When you arrive at the Special Assistance desk in the check-in area, the team will offer you a Helping Hands lanyard, and there is Quiet Route signage to follow through the airport. For a landside pre-visit or questions about hidden disabilities, email the Airport Ambassadors at [email protected].

Before you go

Every person is different. Use these details to plan, and contact the venue if something matters to you: most are happy to answer questions before you visit.
