Quiet or relaxed times, sensory map, visual guide or social story, ear defenders or sensory kit, carer ticket, Changing Places toilet, staff training, quieter times to visit. We'll add these as soon as The Fish Tank publishes them. Until then, it's worth asking when you book.

Tom's visit

I go here fairly regularly with my daughter. They limit how many people are in the pool at any one time, so it's generally quiet and the water is lovely and warm. Some sessions can be loud and it's quite echoey, so if hearing sensitivity is an issue, the public sessions may be worth avoiding.

Visited regularly. My own experience as a dad from the North East; it isn't from the venue, and every family is different.

Before you go

Every person is different. Use these details to plan, and contact the venue if something matters to you: most are happy to answer questions before you visit.
